The original house was designed by an Italian architect in the early 1900s as a home and surgery for a doctor. We purchased the property in 2002, becoming the first owners who are not doctors, and began an ongoing renovation process to transform it into a guest house and dive lodge. We also have an on-site dive centre that serves as a one-stop shop for all your travel and diving needs.

The design ethos behind Agulhas was to create accommodation that respected the quality expected of the modern discerning traveller and diver. Our passion for quality and service is reflected in the Dive Centre, where we utilise our 25-plus years of successful dive operation and our experiences diving around the world to ensure we offer you the best in dive service.
